Integrations: Connecting Tools to Power Email Intelligence

Connect Slack, Jira, Google Drive, and 30+ other tools to Revo so your automatic email drafts are grounded in real business context. Integrations fuel Intelligence Modules with meetings, projects, and documents, ensuring every draft is relevant.

Overview

Integrations connect your existing business tools to Revo's Intelligence Modules, providing the context that powers automatic email drafting.

By linking apps your team already uses (Slack, Jira, Notion, Google Calendar), Revo transforms scattered information into a unified knowledge base.

Why this matters for email:

When a customer asks "Is the feature ready?" Revo doesn't guess. It checks your connected Jira board, references this morning's standup in Slack, and drafts an accurate reply like: "Yes, it shipped to production at 10:15 AM today."

Without integrations: Generic AI responses based on training data
โ€‹With integrations: Factual email drafts grounded in your actual work

Where to Connect Your Tools

  1. Click your Team Name at the top-left to open the main menu

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown

  3. In the left sidebar, click Integrations

  4. Click the Add Integrations button to browse available apps

  5. Search for the tool you want (e.g., Slack, Jira, Google Drive) and follow the prompts

What happens next: Revo begins indexing your data to build Intelligence Modules. Within hours, your email drafts will reference real information from these connected sources.

Core Integration Capabilities

1. Unified Knowledge for Smarter Email Drafts

Revo cross-references data across all your connected platforms to create a single source of truth. Instead of you searching five different apps to answer an email, Revo does it automatically.

Communication Integrations:
Sync Slack or Microsoft Teams to include channel history, decisions, and informal context in your email intelligence.

Engineering Integrations:
Connect Jira, Linear, or GitHub to reference current sprint status, bug fixes, and feature releases in customer and stakeholder emails.

Knowledge Integrations:
Link Notion, Confluence, or Google Drive to access specs, SOPs, and research docs that ground your email responses in documented processes.

Meeting Integrations:
Connect Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar so Revo can attend calls, transcribe decisions, and reference "what we discussed yesterday" in email drafts.

We support over 30 integrations across CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce), Support (Intercom, Zendesk), Analytics (Mixpanel), Storage, and ERP systems.

Email impact: The more tools you connect, the more context Revo has. More context means more accurate, detailed, and actionable email drafts.

2. Personal vs. Workspace Integrations

To protect privacy while maximizing utility, Revo handles integrations two ways:

Workspace Level:
Admins connect shared tools (like your company Slack workspace) to provide baseline organizational context for everyone.

Personal Level:
Tools like Confluence or Google Drive are connected individually. Revo only accesses files and pages you personally have permission to view.

Why this matters: When drafting emails, Revo won't reference confidential documents you can't access. Intelligence respects your existing permission boundaries.

3. Taking Action from Email Conversations

Integrations enable Revo to execute tasks in other apps without leaving your inbox:

Create Issues:
Customer reports a bug via email. Revo drafts the reply and simultaneously creates a Jira ticket with all the details, attaching it to the response.

Update Documentation:
Feature question in email. Revo references the spec in Confluence and can update the doc if new information is provided.

Post to Slack:
Important customer request. Revo drafts the email reply and posts a summary to your #customer-feedback Slack channel for team visibility.

Real-Time Sync:
As you close tickets or update documents in your native tools, Revo's Intelligence Modules refresh automatically. Your next email draft will reflect the latest status without manual updates.

How to Use Integrations for Better Email Drafts

Priority 1: Connect Your Calendar

Why: This allows Revo to attend meetings, transcribe decisions, and build the richest context for email intelligence.

Recommended: Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar

Email impact: Customer asks "What did we agree on pricing?" Revo's draft cites the exact tier and terms from Tuesday's sales call transcript.

Priority 2: Connect Project Management Tools

Why: These tools hold your current work status. When customers or stakeholders ask "What's the progress?" Revo needs to know what's actually happening.

Recommended: Jira, Linear, Asana, or GitHub Issues

Email impact: Drafts can say "Completed yesterday in sprint 24" instead of "We're working on it."

Priority 3: Add Communication Platforms

Why: Slack and Teams capture informal decisions and context that never make it into formal docs.

Recommended: Slack or Microsoft Teams

Email impact: Drafts can reference "As we discussed in #product-team this morning" with actual quotes and decisions.

Priority 4: Sync Documentation Tools

Why: Specs, processes, and knowledge base articles ground your email responses in official company information.

Recommended: Notion, Confluence, or Google Drive

Email impact: Support emails can reference your actual troubleshooting guides and setup instructions with citations.

Priority 5: Add CRM (for Sales & CS Teams)

Why: Customer history, deal stages, and relationship context make email drafts personalized and relevant.

Recommended: HubSpot, Salesforce, or Intercom

Email impact: Drafts know if this is a new lead, active customer, or churned account and adjust tone and content accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data used to train models?

No. Data from your integrations is processed to provide context for your email drafts and answers but is never used by model providers for training.

Can Revo see all my private documents?

No. Revo follows your existing permissions. If you don't have access to a file in Google Drive or a Confluence page, Revo won't see it either. Your email drafts will only reference information you personally can access.

Can Revo create items in my other tools?

Yes. When drafting emails, Revo can simultaneously create Jira tickets or post Slack updates. You review these actions before they execute.

Why is a specific tool not appearing in my list?

Ensure the integration is connected and that you have the necessary permissions. For tools that require manual file sharing (like Google Drive), ensure the specific document has been shared with Revo.

Which integrations are currently supported?

Revo supports 30+ integrations including Slack, Jira, Notion, GitHub, HubSpot, Salesforce, Intercom, Zendesk, and Google Workspace. View the full list at revo.ai/integrations.

How often does Revo sync with my integrations?

Real-time for event-based tools like Slack and Jira. Multiple times per day for document tools like Notion and Confluence. This ensures your email drafts always reference current information.

Do my team members need to connect their own integrations too?

For workspace tools like Slack, one admin connection covers the whole team. For personal tools like Google Drive or Confluence, each user connects their own account so Revo respects individual permissions and only drafts emails using data that person can access.
