Overview
Revo Chat is your primary interface for interacting with your organization's intelligence. It's where you land when you log in, and it's designed to help you work faster by giving you instant access to everything your team knows, decides, and builds.
While Revo automatically drafts email responses for you once you connect your inbox, Chat is where you go to query your data, manage projects, generate insights, and automate workflows. Think of it as your command center for turning conversations into action.
Where to access Revo Chat:
Web App: Your main workspace at app.revo.ai
Chrome Extension: Access Revo's intelligence directly from any browser tab
iOS App: Keep your team's collective knowledge with you on mobile
Core Features
1. Contextual Intelligence
Every message you send is processed through our Intelligence Modules, the persistent brain of Revo.
Unlike standard AI agents that start every conversation with a blank slate, these modules act as a compounding memory for your business.
Intelligence Modules (like Company DNA, Product Taxonomy, or User Feedback) continuously ingest and organize data from your meetings, tickets, documents and various integrations.
Why it matters:
Persistent Memory: Revo remembers how your team works and what you've decided.
Knowledge Compounds: The system gets smarter with every interaction, meaning your email drafts become more accurate and on-brand as Revo learns more about your company, products, and communication style.
Verified Truth: Answers are grounded in your actual data, not generic guesses.
2. Model Selection
The default LLM model while chatting with Revo is Gemini 3 Flash, providing high speed and efficiency for all users.
If you are on the Enterprise Plan, you gain access to a selection of additional models to suit different needs:
Gemini 3 Pro
GPT 5.2
Claude Sonnet 4.5
This allows Enterprise users to manually switch models depending on the task at hand.
3. @ Mentions & Referenceable Items
You can bring specific data points into your conversation by using the @ symbol. This allows you to "tag" objects so Revo knows exactly what you're referring to. You can @ mention the following items
@Documents: Reference specific PRDs, internal SOPs, or guides.
@Meetings: Pull context from specific transcripts or recorded calls.
@Labels: Filter your query by specific categories across your workspace.
@Users: Reference specific team members and their assigned tasks.
@Slack Channels: Ground your query in discussions happening in specific channels.
@Projects: Query information at the project level.
@Issues: Discuss the status, description, or priority of a specific ticket.
@Insights: Access saved research or previous AI-generated analyses.
@Workflows: Bring in the logic or results of automated processes.
4. Contexts
Contexts are reusable instruction sets that guide how Revo behaves and communicates during your interactions.
Think of them as "AI personas" or "specialists" that you can toggle on or off in Chat.
By using Contexts, you ensure that Revo isn't just giving a generic answer, but is applying the specific tone, constraints, and scoped knowledge required for a particular goal, whether that's drafting technical documentation, analyzing sales data, or preparing for an onboarding session.
How to switch Contexts: You can easily swap Contexts while chatting with Revo. Simply click the Context dropdown located on the right side of the chat interface and select the Context that best suits your current task.
Revo will immediately adapt its expertise to that role.
For more details on building your own instruction sets, see our Contexts Overview.
5. Attach Files
You can upload external data directly into any conversation. Revo supports Images, PDFs, CSVs, and Documents.
Direct Upload: Drag and drop or click the attachment icon to upload a file directly into a chat.
Analysis: Once attached, you can ask Revo to summarize a PDF, extract data from a CSV, or describe an image. These files are processed with the same contextual awareness as your integrated data.
How to use Chat effectively
Step 1: Start a Conversation
Type your query into the message bar. Be as specific as possible.
Good: "Summarize the key decisions from yesterday's standup."
Better: "Using @meeting: Daily Standup, list all P0 blockers discussed and who owns them."
Step 2: Automate Common Tasks
Use chat to execute common product tasks instantly without leaving the conversation:
"Draft a PRD for the new navigation menu based on my last three discovery meetings."
"Create an issue for the bug reported in @slackchannel: #user-feedback."
Step 3: Iterate and Refine
If the first answer isn't perfect, just follow up. Revo maintains the history of your thread, allowing you to refine the output or ask for more detail.
Best Practices
Ground your queries: Always @ mention the relevant document or meeting if you want a precise answer.
Trust but Verify: Use the inline citations provided in the chat response to jump directly to the source material.
Switch Contexts: Use Contexts to change Revo's "persona" for specific tasks like technical writing or sales analysis
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Revo Chat different from ChatGPT or Claude?
What makes Revo Chat different from ChatGPT or Claude?
Generic AI bots are "stateless", they start every conversation from zero.
Instead of just searching for text, Revo uses Intelligence Modules to structure and cross-link your data before you even ask a question.
This means when you ask about a project, Revo isn't just "reading" a document; it is synthesizing context from related Slack threads, Jira tickets, and meeting transcripts simultaneously.
While agents forget, our modules compound knowledge over time

Claude Sonnet 4.5: Highly recommended for coding tasks and detailed technical documentation
Does Revo draft emails for me, or do I do that in Chat?
Does Revo draft emails for me, or do I do that in Chat?
Yes, Revo drafts emails for you automatically. Once you connect your Gmail or Outlook, Revo analyzes incoming emails and drafts responses grounded in your business context. This happens directly in your inbox, not through Chat. However, Chat is where Revo builds the intelligence that powers those drafts. Every conversation, meeting summary, and project update in Chat feeds the Intelligence Modules that make your email responses smarter and more accurate over time.
Can I specifically tell Revo what data to look at?

What happens if I'm not satisfied with an answer?
What happens if I'm not satisfied with an answer?
Revo Chat is a dialogue. Just tell it what’s missing or what needs to change. Because it maintains the history of the thread, it will iterate on its previous output until it’s exactly what you need.
